Summer Chess Camps are coming to THE HOUSE OF CHESS in August

THE HOUSE OF CHESS will have super camps for players of all levels starting on August. Camps will start at 6:00pm until 10:00 pm for the 5 days of camp. The fist week is August 21 to the 25th and there will also be camps on August 28 to September 1st. Grandmaster Shabalov will lead the instuction team that will work with all level of players. Campers will be broken up into groups according to their skill level. There will be training games as well as lectures and various demonstrations, and a tournament at the end of the week so players put their lessons to use. Bring your friends and have a week of fun and instruction with one of top players in the U.S. for the low price of $195.00 for the week and children under 12 the low price of $175.

Memberships plans to fit everyone's budget:

Basic - $60 one year/$110 two years
Mega - $125 one year/$225 two years
Monthly - Adults $15/Juniors and Military $10

With all membership packages you receive discounts on books, equipment and merchandise as well as the newsletter written by Grandmaster Shabalov and Grandmaster Yermolinsky. If you choose the Mega-membership you will also receive 3 FREE lessons with Grandmaster Shabalov (a $360 value).

Tournaments:

Friday night Action (game in 30 minutes) - entry fee is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. The prize fund is $400* (based on 30 entries, 50% of the prize fund is guaranteed.) The tournaments are USCF rated.

On Saturdays and Sundays we will have Quadrangle Tournaments (4 man sections).

On at least 2 Saturdays a month we will have a Saturday Swiss of 4 rounds. The time limit is game in an hour.  Registration is from 10:00 am to 11:45 am and the first round starts at noon. Entry fee is $30 members and $35 non members. The prize fund is $800* (based on 30 entries 50% of prize is guaranteed).

On Wednesdays Grandmaster Shabalov will give a free lecture followed by a simultaneous exhibition (except when the Grandmaster is out of town). Anyone who beats Grandmaster Shabalov will win a $250 gift certificate and a draw will win a $125 gift certificate.

Instructions:

We offer instruction from a member of our qualified staff or from Grandmaster Shabalov. We Offer group rates as well as individual rates. Soon there will be lessons available through the Internet with either Grandmaster Shabalov or Grandmaster Yermolinsky.

Staff Instructions Rates:

Group of 5-6 students $20 per hour for each student.
If you want to join a group for lessons let us know and we will try to arrange a group for you.

Individual instruction 1-2 persons/$40 per hour for each student.

GRANDMASTER Instruction Rates:

Group of 5-6 students $30 per hour for each student. 
If you want to join a group for lessons let us know and we will try to arrange a group for you.

Individual Instruction 1-2 persons/$120 per hour
